Kanha National Park located in the Maikal range of Satpuras brings the central highlands of India. Bandhavgarh
Barely 250 kms away from the Kanha Reserve, the Bandhavgarh is the original home of the white tigers and was once the hunting ground for the Maharaja of Rewas. Bandhavgarh which is famous for its national park; and the majestic historical fort still dominates the high hills rising out of the forest. It is the only maximum elevated zone around the Bandhavgarh area that brings the fantastic jungle views and the wild animals especially the tigers can be spotted very easily.

Earlier the forest around the Bandhavgarh area was being maintained as Shikargarh, or game preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa when the kings killed almost more than 100 tigers in the area and today the same place is known for the best region for tiger tours and its conservation projects.

Jabalpur
The city of multi-colored marble rocks, Jabalpur brings many attentions to the state of Madhya Pradesh. This city is also known for some historical forts and war memorials amidst the lavishing natural beauty. It is being famed as the third largest city in Madhya Pradesh that brings the cultural capital at the “land of the Gondwanas” and is being called as “Sanskaardhaani”. This place is very closer to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Jabalpur is the place famous for Khajuraho, Balancing Rock, Chausathyogini Temple, Mandla Fort, Pench National Park and many more.

Pench
This place can be better notified as a national park which is just 357 kms away from the Kanha National Park and can be reached within 5 hours of drive and is nestled at the lower southern ranges of Satpura hills bordering Maharashtra. You can find the original setting of the Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book at Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighborhood area. The whole area of the Pench Tiger Reserve is being wide spread at an area of 758 sq km. interestingly this place offers the Kipling Country Tour and tiger tour to get acquainted with the Kipling’s world of creativity in the natural surroundings of the reserve.

Tadoba
Tadoba highlights the oldest national park in Maharashtra and is a compact national park of about 120 sq km area at an altitude of 200 m. The wildlife enthusiasts can find this place as much as heaven and have christened this place as the ‘jewel of Vidarbha’. The name Tadoba has been derived from the local deity of Gond tribes as ‘Taru’ who was killed in an epic fight with tiger. It is one of India’s 28 tiger reserve and consists of variety of wild species with around 50 tigers and other rare wild species.
